Business Support Assistant

Required: 1st October 2018

Fixed term contract for 1 year (maternity cover)

Salary: £14,056 - £15,334 (actual salary) depending on experience

Hours: 37 hours per week; 39 weeks per year (includes inset days)

New Chapter Primary is looking to appoint a Business Support Assistant on a 1 year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. We are looking for a friendly reliable individual to work on our school reception to welcome pupils, parents, visitors and staff both in person and over the telephone.

Specific duties include: acting as the first point of contact in response to telephone and face-to-face enquiries, maintain the school’s management information system (Sims) and general administrative support to the school to include photocopying, filing, responding to emails, dealing with incoming and outgoing post and assisting the School Business Manager.

Hours will be: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.45pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm

In line with school policy, holidays will only be allowed during school holiday time.
