We are looking for an inspirational and motivated teacher to support our journey towards excellence but now wants to develop their own leadership skills.  This post is aimed at staff who aspire to extend their current knowledge, practices and experiences, in order to prepare for headship and senior positions.  The focus of this post is to monitor and improve teaching standards across the school i.e. leading on coaching, the use of Iris (videoing of lessons and self-reflection) developing NQTs and new staff.  The successful candidate will also work with the curriculum subject leaders to ensure the continued improvement of pupil outcomes.

Year 6 Class Teacher

Required: January 2018
(successful candidate will be supporting current class teacher until they go on maternity leave at February half term)

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who has a proven record of good - outstanding teaching. There are 40 children in Year 6, which means that class sizes are significantly smaller than most schools.  We also have a dedicated team of 2- 3 UKS2 Learning Support members, who work closely with small groups of children who have specific learning needs.  Although this post is not required until February half term, starting sooner will give the successful candidate time to team teach with the existing teacher and enable them to really get to know the children in their care.

Ofsted reported that the school provides a well-structured programme of professional training for all staff, which has been effective and motivating. Our staff work well as a team and their morale is high.
